A drug has increased the lifespan of laboratory animals by 25%. Scientists are now testing if the same drug can slow human ageing too.
Abortion rights are debated again. A couple of weeks ago, the left party Déi Lenk submitted a law proposal asking for abortion rights to be enshrined in Luxembourg's constitution. On European level in the meantime, activists are collecting signatures to achieve access to safe abortions for all women in the EU. Bob Dylan has announced that his shows will be phone-free. All visitors will be asked to put their phones in a special pouch which closes automatically inside the phone-free area. People will remain in possession of their phones, but only able to access their phones once outside the phone-free area.

The organization behind the cycling path aims to obtain the 'Express label' for it, meaning that the path will be suitable for a speed of 25 km/hour. According to a study, it should lead to a decrease in pollution and fewer traffic jams, which will result in greater productivity.
